This is a remote position. As a Technical Writer at Tyfone, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products and services are well-documented, user-friendly, and aligned with industry best practices. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create – clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation that helps our customers and internal stakeholders navigate our software productsRequirements Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information and understand complex technical concepts.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, and tutorials, tailored to various audiences.
- Revise and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
- Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
- Ensure documentation compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve documentation processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 4-8 years of proven technical writing experience in the fintech or SaaS industry (preferred).
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software (e.g., Markdown, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence).
- Strong understanding of software development processes and technology stacks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with version control systems is a plus.
